A Day for Jason Graske

BLAINE – Tony Horton, an American fitness guru, has made a very successful career based on motivating and helping change not only people’s physiques, but their lives through his P90X workout videos.
In most cases, he will not see or experience these physical and personal changes he has induced in other’s lives. However on Saturday, June 8, Tony got a chance to meet with a family who experienced Horton’s work first-hand, and this family got to meet a man that was so influential in one of their family member’s lives.

Two years ago, Jason Graske, who was 24 at the time, passed away. One can imagine how hard this is on a family, and the Graske’s have learned the importance of remembering the good times. One of the things they will never forget was Jason’s love for Horton’s P90X. He constantly used P90X for two years all the way up until the day he passed.

Knowing how busy the weekend would be for Horton, Katie Graske (Jason’s sister), contacted The Mud Games staff asking if there was any chance her family could meet Tony for a quick autograph. Robert Graske (Jason’s father), was also hoping to meet the man that he considers his son’s idol.

Horton agreed to meet them. After completing the run, the Graske family arrived by the registration tent, eager to meet this major influence in Jason’s life. Originally just wanting to say hi and get a quick autograph, they hung out with Horton for 20 minutes.

The meeting consisted of Horton signing autographs for them, including a picture of Jason flexing and showing off his hard work with P90X. Horton and the Graske’s also swapped stories. This exchange resulted in a special time for both the Graske’s and Horton.

“My mother and your brother Jason are hanging out in heaven watching down on us during The Mud Games,” Horton told them.

After much talking, smiling and sharing stories of Jason’s life, Horton had a line of people wanting to meet and greet him. After parting ways the Graske’s took with them the pleasure of meeting the man that impacted Jason’s young life so much, and Horton had the gratifying experience of meeting a loving family of one his most dedicated fans.

We at the Mud Games had the honor of watching this exchange. After seeing Horton’s kindness and hearing the Graske’s talk about Jason, we wanted to share this special moment in honoring young Jason’s life.

The Proposal

Congratulations to Cody and Abigail!
The Mud Games would like to say congratulations to Cody Black and Abigail Boltinghouse on their recent engagement! After finishing their first run of The Mud Games, Cody decided it was time for the proposal. Covered in mud, he got down on bended knee and popped the question. This not only came as a surprise to Abigail, but also to Cody’s parents. Everyone was happy to see that she did say yes!

We all wish the best to Cody and Abigail. Check out the proposal in the video below!
